Clinique Superdefense

Clinique Superdefense - sometimes, in extreme conditions of weather, like too much sun or cold, or wind, my skin needs some extra hydration. Regularly I use light creams or just serums, which do not "overload" my skin or make it shine during the day. This is why this moisturizer seems to be one of the greatest findings. Because: it goes on very smoothly, sinks into the skin immediately and has a pretty reasonable SPF. Of course, it has to be applied when your skin asks for it, otherwise you might find yourself in about 6 hours or so that you need to apply powder or redo your entire makeup. I'm very happy with it and I recommend it!

Chanel Les Beiges

Chanel Les Beiges All-in-One Healthy Glow Fluid - or the most simple beauty element you need when your option is for a natural look, your skin looks perfectly clean and you feel rested and relaxed. It's hydrating compared to a regular foundation, but not as much as a moisturizer. It applies very easily and confers a slight luminosity and bronsed effect, without too much coverage. The main disadvantage is that it has no resistence and in 4 hours time you can be sure that only the tiniest amount has remained on your face. And in my opinion is not suitable for people with combination skin, because after a while it tends to become too shiny. It goes on very well in free time or for short outings, or if you can apply it more often.

Capture XP Ultimate Eye Cream

Capture XP Ultimate Eye Cream - I have to admit that I'm a great fan of playing Magellan and navigate with talent through the incomprehensible ocean of cosmetics. On this voyage I pretend to set up a map of products that are worth coming back to, and point out those that do not deserve any attention from our behalf (money, effort, etc). Sadly, this latter category is the same that I would classify the eye cream from Dior, XP ultimate eye cream. It hydrates, but not profoundly and consequently, the effect is just temporarily. I strongly advise turning to other products, which are worth their money or achieve the final universal purpose, that of making us look younger! :)

A glimpse of the Versace world of bags and shoes from current collection: magnificent! Where are they appropriate for wearing? the creator says EVERYWHERE! :) And I have to agree..

YSL - Rouge Pur Couture a Levres

YSL - Rouge Pur Couture a Levres - or lip perfection in just a few strokes. No joke! Right now, there's an open competition between Dior Addict and this lovely discovery. I already got 2 shades I'm using on occasion or on a daily basis, and I don't think I'm going to stop here ;). You use it and voila: you get persistent color, gloss and hydration - all in one. And if you use a color from the Rebel Nudes collection, loss of color it's done gradually, in a very pleasant way. So, Bravo, YSL! This is another beauty element we cannot do without so easily! :)

Estee Lauder - Double Wear Mascara

Estee Lauder - Double Wear Mascara - this is a very nice mascara, perfect for daily use. It gives a natural lengthening and perfectly definition of the eye lashes. It fixates quite nicely and because of its resistance, it doesn't smudge nor blackens the eyelids, as it happened to me with some types of mascara from Lancome or YSL. Beware, this mascara does not necessarily confer volume - it's mainly for daily use, destined to lengthen and define eye lashes. I have no critic except that, so far I found it difficult to remove it, and I wouldn't put it all on my eye make up remover.

Spring-summer 2014

If images could talk, then we would listen to stories of all kinds, from romances to science-fiction. I can only admire the spring-summer collection of Diane von Fustenberg. From diffuse colors, botanical prints and layers of sheer vail to straight lines and geometrical prints. You can always find yourself in one of those next outfits, unless you want too pass unnoticed. :)

Helena Rubinstein - Eye Prodigy Powercell

Helena Rubinstein - Eye Prodigy Powercell - enters the category of latest good cosmetics I've tried. Concentrated moisturizer, it soothed the dry skin sensation around my eyes and even smoothed the appearance of fine lines. Although it takes a little longer to sink into the skin, I was fortunate enough not to have my eyes sting from that. It's quite an ok moisturizer, it does what it says and I recommend it to anybody that has the purchasing possibility and willingness :)

Clarins - Instant Eye make up reomover

Clarins - Instant Eye make up remover - is by far one of the worst makeup removers I've tried. Forget about fast melting mascara/eye shadow or even proper cleansing, and say hello to inconsistent cleaning, mascara crumbles and a world of effort to remove daily makeup. Can this be right? I've tried it 3 times so far and the result was a disaster each and every time. Maybe it's incompatible with Estee Lauder mascara? I don't really know what to say, except that this product receives a big NO from my side. The only positive thing is that it didn't make my eyes burn.

Clarins - Pure Melt Cleansing Gel

Clarins - Pure Melt Cleansing Gel - it's the first make-up remover based on soluble oil I've used. You only need to apply a small quantity, gently massage into the skin all over the face and rinse it off. As a result, you get is a clean face in shorter time. I like this product better because my skin feels slightly hydrated even after I washed my face and I prefer to use it during colder weather. The only inconvenience is the price..

Saint Laurent Paris - Classic Shoes

..more or less classic, actually. Beautiful as nothing else! :) Very Glam, very Gustav Klimt from the golden period. I would wear them with a golden sheer dress..

Spring-summer 2014

From Chanel we get creations that follow both the classic line, B-W materials, as well as novelty color contrasting creations, extremely interesting presented. Looks like somebody's playing with water colors was the inspiration behind all this... and this particular detail can be found throughout the entire collection (check out the models's make-up). Hair style is another particular element that it's worth observing, highlighting the non-conformism of the collection.

Not the singer, but also as famous. She made 135 mln $ at once, without moving much (just sitting in for painting...by no other than Gustav Klimt).
So...how would you like having such a lovely sight to look at? I know that my day would be brighter for sure. The aboundance of details always keeps the mind busy and the ansemble gives away its unique opulence, creating a warm atmosphere to breath in. :)

It's best to enjoy the evening by looking at some of the watches from the Marc Jacobs women collection. They're all beautiful, right? I would wear watch no. 4, The Bunny! :) :p

Have you noticed the boxing of these products? They're fantastically pretentious and let's admit it, nothing says glam quite like gold. :)

Cinema - or the warm, yet sweet, but strong vanilla fragrance of colder evenings. It's suited to those who want a light, sweet, vanilla based perfume. Opening and middle notes are based on discrete floral essences. You cannot go wrong with it. It's a fragrance suited to cold weather, when you can best feel the combination of amber and vanilla. With a moderate sillage, it can be worn in the office, without any worries. It has a notable persistence.

Yves Saint Laurent - Glam Beauty (3)

Rouge Pur Couture - Vernis a Levres Glossy Stain - one of my best purchases lately, lipstick speaking :). The colors are vibrant, the pigment is great, the wow effect is immediate. With only on stroke I get both color and gloss. And, despite its long resistance (approximately 4-5 hours), my lips are not dehydrated. I have no negative remarks.

Rate: 10/10.

Rouge Pur Shine - another lipstick which I absolutely must categorize as GREAT. I had it and used it until the last drop. Fantastic color, long resistance and subtle finish. The only small inconvenience I want to point out is that it didn't hydrate my lips that well.

Rate: 9/10.

Now, I know that Santa was J U S T here, but that doesn't stop us from day dreaming to other great stuff, right? Like this CK clutch (spring 2014 collection), just good to take away on a stroll..anytime, anywhere :)

Yves Saint Laurent - Glam Beauty (2)

Let us go through the list started in the previous post. I was saying that so far, I haven't been disappointed by whatever I tried from YSL. Personally, I found that they are among the top products of the make-up universe, referring strictly to what I've tried/tested.

Ombres Lumieres Eye Shadow - luminous eye shadow, with a light pigmentation, despite the form of presentation (intense vibrant colors).With just one layer, you get a hint of color, with two, just a shadow. It suits me perfectly, especially since I prefer the make-up that only enhances the features and not undermines them. Every time I open the tiny box, color intensity and their beauty is still surprising. With the proper base, they last an entire day. However, compared to Dior eye shadow, those from YSL are a little bit drier, which makes them more difficult to apply on the eye lids. This is the only inconvenience I want to point out.

Teint Parfait Embelisseur de Teint - already on the list of discontinued products. I honestly don't understand why it's not produced anymore. It's the perfect product, addressed to those who already have a clear skin and whose only aim is to enhance skin luminosity or subtle masking small deficiencies. I used no. 1, and I would buy it again if it was produced. It's just the right choice for days when you don't feel like wearing makeup and all you need is just a little glow. I usually apply it over my face cream, add on a little blush, and voila, I am ready to go. I have noticed absolutely no problem with this product.

Yves Saint Laurent - Glam Beauty (1)

Worthy of their name, many of the YSL beauty products are truly excellent! Some of them are first in cosmetic sales lists for founded reasons.

Touche Eclat Complexion Highlighter - is obviously the uncontested star of the YSL make-up line. Forever on the short list of must have beauty products.Why? Simply put, it works wonders. With just a thin layer of lights, it partially conceals dark circles, conveying subtle luminosity to areas where it was applied. In case of the right dosage, the fine particles won't gather in the eye's wrinkles. On the opposite case, you should definitely correct the excess after a short period and the rest of the appearance would still be fine. 

Rate: 10/10.

Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils Shocking - Luxurious Mascara - is the number 2 star! Impressive by color, wear-ability and resistance. I have no negative observations. To me, it's comparable to Lancome's Hypnose Mascara and receives the maximum rating.
